Linux, as we know, is an open-source operating system that serves as a foundation of various Linux distribution, also known as distro, or sometimes it is called Linux flavors. Here are some of the popular Linux distribution. The very first one is Red Hat. This operating system is the main focus of our course. Red Hat Linux, often referred to as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, in short, REL. It is a popular and widely used Linux distribution that is designed for enterprise-level use. It is developed and maintained by Red Hat Incorporation. The next one is CentOS, or CentOS. It is exactly the same as Red Hat. It is based on the source code of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
