What's security architecture?
- [Instructor] To proactively protect data from internal and external attacks, a database's security architecture involves implementing certain control features based on the type of security control focus. Ideally, this is a three by three matrix chart your organization would manage and revise periodically. There are three types of security controls: physical, technical, and administrative. And for each security control, your organization should have three types of control measures: preventative, detective, and corrective. This provides a holistic approach to protecting systems, networks, and data. Let's discuss each security control type one by one.
