- [Instructor] Effective facilitation is a cornerstone of successful Scrum practice. While Scrum provides a lightweight framework with clearly defined roles and events, it's the skillful facilitation of interactions that enables a team to collaborate productively, overcome obstacles, and deliver value consistently. Without strong facilitation, Scrum events risk becoming disorganized, unfocused, or dominated by a few voices, ultimately undermining the principles of transparency, inspection, and adaptation that Scrum depends on. In Scrum, facilitation is primarily the responsibility of the Scrum Master, but every team member benefits from developing facilitation skills.
