- [Instructor] SAP has many tools and reports for asset accounting. One extremely useful tool that delivers quick insights into individual assets is called the Asset Explorer. The Asset Explorer is an asset manager's best friend because from one place we can see every single transaction associated with a single fixed asset. Let's look at this interactive report by entering transaction code AW01N. The first required field is company code. We'll enter company code 1710. Next, we'll enter our asset number. We'll enter 50000004. Next we're going to go look to the future. In our fiscal year, we'll click to 2024. The system has populated a ton of information on this screen. In the top left area of the screen, we have a menu tree for this asset's depreciation areas. In our example, we have four different depreciation areas and by clicking on each of these different depreciation areas we have the depreciation values populated.…
