- [Instructor] Let's return to the architecture slide we covered in one of the previous lectures. Now, up to this point, we've worked exclusively in SAP BW in the planning model, but now we're going to cover the use of the embedded environment. If you have any experience in the standard model, you know that when you create the environment the system generates the info area, real-time info providers and infer objects, all in its own name space. In contrast, embedded SAP BPC environments do not have their own corresponding info area. So why do we need a BPC embedded environment? The BPC embedded environment allows access to the EPM add-in as well as configuration for BPFs, web templates, input schedules, work status, and data orders.
