(lighthearted guitar music) - Welcome to SAP BPC Embedded Fundamentals for Application Design. In this introduction lecture, I'll be orientating you on the fundamentals of SAP BPC Embedded, or BI-IP, introduce you to the transaction RSPLAN, and give an overview of the BPC Web Client. Remember, these aspects will be covered in more detail in later lectures, but this will provide a good starting point to familiarize yourself with the terminology used. Before we continue, a quick word on the term, "embedded". Embedded is the result of the merger between SAP BPC and BI-IP, and the merger aims to provide the following.
