Setting up IP ranges
- [Instructor] As you prepare your organization's Salesforce setup, it's important to prioritize security. One way to do this is by configuring your own IP address ranges. IP addresses are unique addresses that identify devices over a local network or the internet. In Salesforce, you can configure a full list of these IP addresses. By learning how to set up your IP ranges to address your organization's trusted networks, you'll help protect it from unauthorized access. This also reduces the number of times the user needs to do login challenges. At Setup, you'll navigate to Network and Quick Find and select Network Access. You'll see what's currently configured for your trusted IP ranges. Currently, that's none at this time. So because we want to create a new one, click New at the top of the screen.
