Disabling caching

- [Instructor] Salesforce's runtime is able to perform well because of the caching that's done on the client, i.e., Chrome, Safari, etc. But sometimes for admins and developers it can cause issues when we make changes to the environment. Caching is enabled by default. Typically the first thing to confirm outside of the permissions is to just make sure you've cleared the cache on your browser. When troubleshooting and clearing the browser doesn't work, you may just need to temporarily disable caching for your Salesforce org, so it'll affect all users. To disable caching in Salesforce, go to setup and search for session. Click on session settings. Once there, scroll to the caching section. Under caching, deselect enable secure and persistent browser caching to improve performance, and scroll down to the bottom and hit save.
