- [Instructor] This is an audio-only course. Social media has been a part of our lives for quite some time now, and social selling has steadily gained popularity in recent years. However, there are significant changes occurring in this space. Two key factors driving this change are the increasing number of channels available and the evolving way customers engage with digital media. Back in 2016, the average B2B decision maker used five different channels before reaching out to a supplier. By 2019, that number had increased to 7.5 channels. Fast forward to 2021, and it reached a staggering 10 channels. This trend is clearly going to continue, and will be higher than 10 today, which just stresses the need for businesses and salespeople to expand their presence across various platforms.
