- When I sold cars back in my twenties, it took several months of working my prospecting strategy for potential customers to begin to visit me at the dealership. I remember one Saturday when there was literally a line of people waiting to see me. I sold six cars that day; a record for me having only been in the car sales business for a few months. As you begin to implement your prospecting strategy, you will start to see results with prospects responding to your outreach and agreeing to your calls and meeting requests.
