- Now it's time to connect the dots between your challenge question, what you learned, and the action you want your audience to take. So you're going to start finding your story. This is where your work and process analytics come together and you have to start mining and looking for where that story is. And the important thing to know is the story is not all of your analytics. It's probably hidden in the analytics. So we need to connect the dots between the challenge question and the storyline. So one word of caution, don't backwards engineer. So don't have a story in mind and try to force it and try to make it happen. In fact, the story you may find may be different than what you anticipated, and that's some of the magic to finding your story. So this is where your story finding skills come in.
