- [Instructor] One of the things that I recommend is enabling Settings Sync. It allows you to synchronize your settings between your instances of Visual Studio Code and whatever you're configuring in your settings and everything that you can change in Visual Studio Code to be synced. Now you can pick and choose what is getting synced, but it's something that I highly recommend. Now, you may be asking, well, I only have Visual Studio Code locally in my desktop. Why would I want to enable Settings Sync? Well, for some situations, as you will see later, we will be using Codespaces, which allows you to have Visual Studio Code in the cloud. So that means that whatever you're having locally will not necessarily match what you have on the cloud, and you will want to have that synchronization of your configuration enabled.
