- [Instructor] In order to analyze surfaces, we need to create a basic grid, well, basically a mesh. This will allow us to actually see where our surfaces are supported, or sagging, or actually deficient. This is needed to proceed with other analysis. So let's jump in and create a mesh. In Robot, come to this little icon right here, options of FE mesh generation. Click that. Now let's go ahead and click on meshing options. We haven't selected anything, so we'll say yes, mesh every panel in our entire model, so click yes. Now in our meshing options, let's go with complex mesh generation. We'll go with element size, it's 3.28 feet, I'm not sure it'll get that, so I'm just going to go with two feet, hit tab. We can go to our advanced options. We don't really need to get into all of this, so let's just click OK. Now it's going to select all of our surfaces. Now what we need to do, is go to generation of calculation…
