Using keynotes
I'm going to demonstrate the use keynotes. that are saved in the text files, stored off externally to the Revit project in the sheet that I have open here. I'll double click into the view port to activate it and then I'll zoom in near the top to get started here. Now there are three ways to add keynotes, so let's go to the annotate tab and take a look at the keynote tools here. and all of these are governed by the settings here in Keynote Settings. and the only thing I really want to point out here is I'm using the default standard file here, Imperial Keynotes, and yours might vary slightly but I'm not going to change any of the other settings in this dialog but I do want to point out that there is a Reload button here so one of the advantages of keynotes is, if you go into that text file and make a change to the file you can reload it and then the keynotes have the opportunity to update as a consequence.
