- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to talk about cropping and view extents, and I've got a few different examples queued up here for us to talk about. So, the very first thing that you want to consider before anything else when you're considering visibility of elements is what actually shows in the view, and that's controlled by the view's cropping. So what I've got here on screen is a sheet view, C101, and it's got this site plan. And as you can see, if I zoom out a little bit here, the site plan doesn't fit the sheet, okay? And if you keep zooming out, you're going to see that the viewport is actually significantly larger than the sheet is. And this is what I want to address here first, okay? So I'm going to zoom in just a touch closer, and to modify this, we could go find it on Project Browser and open it up. But it turns out a shortcut to that is you can just simply double-click in this viewport and the sheet will stay visible in the background in a half-tone gray, and now…
