- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at some techniques to modify an existing stair. Now, the first thing before we get started that I want to talk about is the exercise file that we've opened. Notice that it actually opens with two tabs. So there's this 3D stair tab, and this level one architectural plan. So what I'm going to do is, come over here to the view tab, and go to the tile views button, and that of course will put the two views side-by-side. And then I want to use my wheel, and adjust the view so that I'm zoomed in nice and close here on the transition of the railings in the middle. And then I'll click over into the floor plan, and roll in and focus on the same general location. So the first thing I want to talk about is a warning that appeared in the previous video that we ignored, and that was related to this railing.
