Creating groups
- [Speaker] In this video, we're going to talk about groups. Now, the primary purpose of groups is to help you manage repetitive elements in your design. And one of the main advantages of groups is if you make a change to one instance of a group, that change will apply to all instances throughout the project. So the first thing I'd like to do is create a group so that we can demonstrate some of that functionality. So what I'm going to do is start out here in empty space, click and drag so that I am capturing all of the elements that you see here on screen. And I missed one, so let me do that again. I'm looking for a quantity of 115 right here. So if yours says a number less than that, then try again. Once you have everything selected, the next thing I'm going to do is just come right up here to the ribbon and click the create Group Tool or GP is the shortcut if you prefer. And what you'll see here in this Window is that we're actually creating two different groups at the same time. So…
