- [Instructor] This video is going to be Part One of a Two Part look at the View Range Dialogue. View Range is how we control what we see in Floor Plan Views. So it works for both Floor Plans and Reflected Ceiling Plans. And one of the primary things that View Range does is determine where we're Slicing through our model in order to generate the Floor Plan Graphics. So that's what we're going to be focused on mostly here in this video. And then we'll look at some additional settings of the View Range in the next one. So first, let's just talk about conceptually, what we are going to be discussing here. If you consider a Floor Plan, way a Floor Plan is generated is by taking the model and Slicing through it at some location. Now, this is the pretty standard height that this occurs at, but you could really do this at any height that you like. And then whatever geometry is being Sliced through at that level, that determines how to draw those elements in the Planned View. So for example…
