- [Instructor] As a designer, you are often asked, "What is the actual cost for installing a material "into a project that you are working on?" Either it's the initial cost that they're looking for or it may even be something as much as the life-cycle cost. What we're going to do is we're going to put that information into this model so that it's not something where we have to keep going and searching for all over the place. The first thing I'm going to do is I want to take my Finish Material Legend and I'm going to edit it. There's a few things we got to do to it first. I'm going to go back in here to where it says, "Fields." The first thing I'm going to do is going to take the Material URL and I'm going to move it up. Okay, now I'm going to actually take the Material Cost, and because that unit that the Material Cost is under is a currency, I'm actually going to get rid of it.
