From the course: Resume Makeover

Customize, tweak, and fine-tune your resume

- They say all good things must come to an end, and this includes the resume makeover course. But before I go, I want to leave you with this. The work that you've just put in to creating a solid resume is work. You should feel really proud of. Writing Your resume can be pretty challenging, even with step-by-step support. So great work on that. But here's the thing. Each job that you pursue is going to be a little bit different than the job you applied for last. The required skills will vary. The priorities listed on the job description won't ever be identical from job to job. You may get a tip that a hiring manager really wants to hire someone with these specific skills. Assuming those skills are ones that you possess, you should elevate them on your resume so that it's crystal clear that you can come in with the goods. My point here is this, you have not just created a tattoo or etched something in stone. Treat your resume as a living and breathing document. Customize it as often as you need to so that you make perfect sense for those perfect jobs you're most interested in landing.
