- [Instructor] So now that we understand the theory behind sampling, let's see how it actually works in practice. We have our robot scene here with all of our different materials and our environmental effects as well as all the multiple different lighting setups here. So the first thing we want to do is make sure that we have disabled bokeh and any motion blur that we have in our scene. This is just going to allow us to focus on the sharpness of our scene and the overall noise that is happening before we start to add in those other effects. The next thing we want to do is make sure our render view is playing back and switch over to bucket mode so that we get as close to a final render as we possibly can. And now in our render settings, in order to start dialing in our samples, we need to switch our mode to the advanced tab.
