- The Redshift object tag allows you the ability to control particles after they have already been emitted. With the ability to control standard cinema 4D emitters, X particles, TFD and more, the object tag gives you tons of flexibility for lookdev without having to resim every time. So in this quick scene, I've set up a particle emitter using the standard cinema 4D emitter and some forces under our stage object. Now, if I just play this back, you'll see we have our particles emitting and kind of swirling around the scene a little bit. Now I want to render these particles out. So if I go ahead and fire up my render view you'll see that we get everything in the scene except for the particles. Well, the reason why is that we have to tell Redshift that the particles exist and we do that using the object tag.
