Advanced shading materials

- In this lesson, we're going to talk about a few more advanced shading concepts when it comes to building out materials in Redshift. In this scene, I have some gummy worms here and if I fire up my render view, you'll see that right now they're just plain white and we'll uncheck bucket mode so we just get a quick preview here. Now, I'd like to start shading these to look like real gummy worms. Now, real gummy worms have this kind of gradient from a red, to a yellow, to a green on one end and they're pretty clear, they're almost a subsurface tile style texture. However, they're not actually subsurface scattering using Redshift. So, let's dive in and start building out this shader. The first thing I want to do is create a new material and I'll select the standard material and drag that and drop it right onto my gummy worm here. And you'll see right now we have this gray. Well, the first thing I want to do is get my ramp…
