- Now, let's take a look at one of my favorite devices in reason, and that is the Combinator. Now, the Combinator allows you to, basically, make your very own instrument by combining various effects, and synthesizers, and plugins all together inside reason. So, I'm just going to go ahead first and let's see how an example of the Combinator looks by going to a factory preset version and seeing what's under the hood before configuring our own. So, I'm just going to go to factory sounds and let's go to Combinator patches. Let's maybe go to synth lead and maybe I'll select something like Amazon warrior. So, now we can see it's loaded in Combinator instrument. And, if I click the keys here. (synthesized instrument beat) We have this kind of evolving base sound, and you can see we have a few controls, these macros on the front panel here for LFO rate, wave form, polarity, and filter frequency.
