Challenge: On-the-fly projection vs. project - ArcGIS Pro Tutorial
From the course: Real-World GIS
Challenge: On-the-fly projection vs. project
(upbeat futuristic music) - [Instructor] Now let's try a challenge together with on-the-fly projection versus a projected map. The goal here is first to get a projected vector layer. I'll let you get that, maybe get one from a local context of where you are in the world. Then project the layer into a new projection. And then what I'd like you to do is compare and contrast it with the on-the-fly views available in ArcGIS. This should take you approximately 15 minutes or less. So let's see what you can do.
