Vendors could provide professional services that are part of running your business. Or they could provide crucial material needed to manufacture, process, and ship your product. QuickBooks keeps track of vendors separately from customers. Like the customer profile, let's set up some fields ahead of time in the vendor profile area. We get there by clicking Lists from the top menu. Hovering your mouse over Customer and Vendor Profile Lists. And from here, let's start with the Vendor Type List.
