- [Instructor] Let's talk about the networking lab that we'll use in this course, along with our Python script, which is called the Cisco Modeling Lab. It is a paid software, that if you want to run it on-prem, which is $199 a year, which it's a excellent value because it offers all of the simulation, different software images. The big thing is really, because of Cisco's software licensing restrictions, typically in most situations you would need to buy the software image from them in order to use in a lab, but if you buy CML, you actually get those images and you know, you could use it in a lab environment. If the cost is prohibitive, they also offer a free version that's provided by Cisco DevNet. It does require reservation, but it's a pretty easy process and the time slots are typically available for the time that you're looking for.
