- You don't want to make it a practice to turn all your big deals over to your boss. That's why they hired you. But you should engage your boss on the most important ones. Your boss can be one of the best assets in closing sales. They're a great resource you can leverage to help you get to higher-level decision-makers and to help you make real headway on big deals. So don't take them on a milk run. Don't just take them to the customers who say, "Oh, she's wonderful. "He's the best. He's great."
