- There is a song by the Propellerheads with the famous Shirley Bassey singing that is called "History Repeating." And anytime I hear this song, I think of how we tend to repeat our actions hoping for different outcomes. Indeed, one of the most important stages in project management is the lessons learned process. Whether this is at the end of the project or is the retrospective at the end of a sprint, evaluating what worked and what didn't is essential if we're going to make future sprints or projects better. Sadly, lessons learned are all too often not turned into lessons incorporated. So how can we make sure we learn from people who've experienced burnout previously to help prevent burnout in the future?
