- In the last video, we covered two formats that I use to keep my teams accountable, and did you notice the use of emojis? Personally, I've discovered that emojis, when used appropriately, aid in recall and provide visual stimuli that really enhance communication. Just remember not to go overboard. I'll share two reasons why I highly recommend them. Number one is the visual appeal. Emojis add an engaging element to an otherwise boring report. They immediately catch your attention and bring some life into asynchronous communication. Secondly, they convey emotion and tone. Think about how we use them in our own texts to friends or family. Who loves to use them? Raise your hand, I'm the same way. It really brings your communication to life in a fun way without needing extra words. Take, for instance, our conditioned response to colors.
