- When was the last time that you had a problem with your computer, when a program locked up or shut down unexpectedly? Well, that issue might've been the result of poor project quality and it's exactly why many software projects now use an approach called Agile. In the old days of software development, the business folks would try to plan everything out in advance. Then they'd have the programmers sit down and start writing code. When everything was finally done, they'd all get together to test it and try to fix all of the bunks. But that approach was slow, expensive and frustrating. So a bunch of software developers got together to start a revolution. They signed a document called the Agile Manifesto that laid out a different approach to managing software projects.
