Cross-functional communication
If you work for a large organization, then you might run into the challenge of communicating in a cross-functional team. A cross-functional team is a group of employees from different functional areas working together to deliver a common product. Most organizations are still divided up into different functional areas. Some common functional areas are sales, finance, marketing, human resources, and technology. That means that you might have someone from sales, finance, and software development all working together on the same team.
