- Have you ever heard someone say you can't test quality into something? Think about that. It's true. You can't wait until the end of a project and hope for great quality. You have to plan for it from the start. By the end of this lesson, you'll be able to implement quality assurance and control processes that will help you maintain high standards throughout your project. There are three key things I always keep in mind when it comes to quality. Number one: incorporate quality from the start. A quality management plan defines the quality standards for your project and outlines how you will meet them. It includes key metrics to measure success, proactive assurance activities like audits and reviews, and control processes, such as inspections and testing to catch defects.
