- Okay, so now you understand the different accountabilities within Scrum and their importance, particularly the product owner, the product owner being somebody that makes sure that the work done by the team is of value and actually adds to the overall product goal. So the product owner is there as the visionary to make sure that the work you do is fit for purpose and is beneficial and feeding into the overall product's goal. This should make sure that the work you've delivered meets the customer requirements and actually brings benefits and value to the users and therefore the customers and the business. So with that in mind, I'd like you to go back to your example that you chose where things didn't work out very well and have a think about the different roles that people played within that team.
