- Now, let's see how to set up and configure Google Chat. Again, we need to go on the Google Admin Center at admin.google.com, then click on apps, Google Workspace, and then Google Chat. Google Chat is available inside the Gmail area under chat. As usual, we can turn on or off this feature for all users in the company or for specific organizational units. We can manage spaces. Spaces are basically group chats that are available in the bottom left part of the Google Chat area. We can create or find the space clicking on this link, so we can create the space, adding users. Smart features and personalization, we won't see this feature as we've seen already. It's exactly the same in Google Meet. Regardless if we set it up in Google Meet or in Google Chat, it will be available for both. After that, we can choose what we want to do with the history for chats and for spaces.
