Deciding next steps

It's very easy to get to the end of the plan, kick back and say to yourself, I am done. But that's not always the case. The work is never done. Even with solutions in place and evaluation process designed and implemented, and stakeholders ready to provide advice and support, these issues will always come up one way or the other. Deciding on what to do next is a key step in the process. If you've built a team to address the problem, a core team of evaluators and stakeholders who have shown their support for the plan, you'll have an easier time deciding on the next steps. These next steps, however, do not have to be a grand happening like the beginning of the problem-solving process. In deciding the next steps, I suggest you do two things. Communicate results from the evaluations and develop a core team of individuals to track and communicate progress. Transparent, consistent feedback is needed to ensure that the team understands what has transpired since the solutions were implemented.…
