When your mask needs to move: Tracking
- Mask tracking is your key to ensuring the masks move accurately and precisely as your clips come to life. It enables your masks to remain aligned with moving subjects, maintaining your visual effects, seamless and captivating. Let's go ahead and open sequence 6.4, when your mask needs to move, tracking. You might recall this clip from movie 6.2, where we aim to blur this gentleman and the hotel's name. Let's go ahead and add a Gaussian blur to this clip. Go to the effects panel and type the word Gaussian, and drag the effect to the clip. Change the amount of blurriness and now let's mask him. For that, grab the pen tool and just click and drag around him, and we need to track him. But first, let's feather him a little bit. The first thing I need to do is use the mask path tools.
