- [Instructor] Marking your shots well is essential to the editing process. But as you've probably noticed, there are some limitations, especially when you need to set to set new in and out points in the same clip. So let's talk about how to preserve your mark portion by Sub clipping your shots. I'm going to go into my 3.2 bin. And then in my Master Clips bin I'm going to load this clip right here. Now we've seen this clip before. This is where Charles talks about looking out over the bay. This portion right here is something that we've marked before. I'm just going to play in to out to remind us of what he says. That's opt + K on a Mac or ctrl + shift + spacebar on a PC. - It's is the first thing I look at.
