- [Instructor] For this next chapter, we are going to be looking at how animation and motion can be used to direct attention and help tell your story. There's a ton of ways to animate and create motion in PowerPoint. The most obvious way is through the animations tab and the animations pane, but there are other ways too that we'll be discussing in this chapter, like using slide transitions and specifically the newer transition called morph or you can even create motion through less obvious tools, such as slide zoom, but for now, in this movie, we're going to focus on the most common way to animate using that animations pane. And don't get me wrong, you can master PowerPoint animation and create some interesting visuals with just the options in this pane. You can use the animations here to help tell a story on a slide.
