Save a presentation as a PDF
- [Instructor] Turning your slideshow into a PDF is a great way to share it while also preventing others from editing it. To export a presentation into PDF format, go to the File tab, click on Export, and then click on Create PDF or XPS Document, and then click on create PDF or XPS. A Save As dialogue box opens, allowing you to choose where to save the PDF and what to name it. If you want a file size that is smaller than the default, select minimum size. To spot check the PDF after it exports, check Open File after Publishing. Click on Options for even more settings such as whether or not to include hidden slides, comments and ink. After you've made your selections, click Publish. The PDF launches immediately, allowing you to spot check the document.
