Insert a video from YouTube - PowerPoint Tutorial
From the course: PowerPoint Quick Tips
Insert a video from YouTube
- [Instructor] PowerPoint can display videos from the web, including YouTube, on any slide. To add one, go to the Insert tab, click on Video, and choose Online Videos. Type in the URL of your video. You'll get a preview letting you know that this is the correct video you want to insert, and then click on Insert. You can resize and move this video on the slide, just like any other graphic. And in the Video Format tab, you can adjust how the video looks with adjustments and video styles. Then when you play your presentation, the slide will load with that video on it. Click the play button to play your video. Make sure you have an internet connection wherever you are presenting, so that your video will play. If you want your video to play automatically, select it, go to the Playback tab, and next to Start, select Automatically. Please note that if you have an effect like a tilt, that will not affect the way that the video looks when it plays.
