Add animations to objects - PowerPoint Tutorial
From the course: PowerPoint Quick Tips
Add animations to objects
- [Instructor] Adding movement is a great way to make a presentation more dynamic or to control the way the content is revealed. Just remember to keep it simple and subtle. To add an animation, select an object, and go to the animations tab. Clicking on the downward facing arrow gives you all the options available. Let's select Fade. Notice you get a preview and a little box appears showing you the order in which the animation will appear on the slide. In the timing area, next to start, choose with previous. The number changes to zero, which means the title will animate immediately after the slide appears. To change an animation type, simply select a different one in the menu. Change the length of the animation in the duration field, and add a delay by adjusting the delay field. To delete the animation, click on the little numbered box and hit delete.
