- Nothing can destroy the credibility of your presentation like an unintended spelling or grammar mistake. Let's take a look at some of the tools that are built into PowerPoint that really help you out, to make sure that your presentation looks its best. Let's scroll down here, and go to a slide near the end of our presentation. Now, in this case, I spelled it correctly, but let's say I didn't, and I start to type. When I press and go to the next line, you see that it underlines the word in red, indicating that it thinks it's misspelled. You can now right-click on this, and it makes a suggestion. That's probably not the right one, and so I'm going to try this, and follow through, not thorough. So you have to be careful. A word can be spelled correctly, but still be an incorrect word.
