- [Instructor] In the current view of Power BI desktop, I added a line chart that shows the average temperatures in New York City. The data itself is available on a daily basis. However, right now we see it on an average temperature on a yearly basis across each year. We can drill down to the levels within it. If we hover across the top of the chart, we'll see the drill down buttons appear. Let's choose the two arrows that point down to drill into the next layer of the visual. We now see the average temperature for each quarter in each year in New York City. We can then drill down into the next level for the month, then the week, and finally to the day. Notice it takes quite a few clicks to get to this bottom level. Each time we go down into the next level, it changes the axis to that level's time period. Then if we want to navigate back up to the yearly level, we have to click through these levels again, in the opposite direction. In the tech world, we love to get it down to a single…
