Create a new report
- [Narrator] There are three primary ways we can create a new report in the Power BI service. We can create a report first by starting with an existing report and making a copy of it. Our second method is to create a new report from scratch, directly from our semantic model. And then the third possibility is that we can ask Copilot to create a report for us. So first, to create a copy of an existing report, which we can then modify, we open the report, like this report, go to File, choose Save a Copy, provide a new unique name for this report. We can't give it the same name it has. So for example, My Retail Analysis. We could do that. And we can put it in whatever workspace we want. Right now, it's in My Workspace. That's the default. On the homepage of Power BI service, it told us that this is where we're saving things unless we choose someplace different. And we can also create folders in our workspace and put items in folders if we want to be able to organize them differently. We…
