Early warning signs for cryptographic obsolescence
We're going to be looking at some of the warning signs that you would be able to detect for cryptographic obsolence, because not every technology and not every dataset is at risk of quantum computing. There's only few datasets that they expose vulnerabilities and in this slide, we're going to cover some of those. So what would be the first instance for cryptographic obsolescence when you have lack of security updates, you have lack of quantum encryption standards, you have a list of quantum processors that they're already confirming that the quantum computer is under development, but it's completely ignored by the organization. And you have NIST post quantum cryptography standards, which will become a requirement in the future. And if your organization is ignoring those standards, that is leading towards cryptographic obsolence. So there's a diagram that we're going to be looking at things that need to happen in 2025 alone.
