Memory organization for PLCs

- [Zahraa] At some point, we might have heard that organizing and knowing where you placed an item helps in finding it when needed, or not. But when it comes to PLC programming, understanding the memory structure will help in knowing where to find, refer, and assign data to use them in the ladder logic program. In this LinkedIn Learner course, I'll explain to you memory structures that Allen Bradley controllers use, rack-based systems, and tag-based systems. I'll explore each system separately by explaining the structure of each memory type and its associated components. I am Zahraa Khalil. I am an engineering instructor, and I love teaching students just like you. Join me in my LinkedIn Learner course and explore the world of PLC ladder logic programming.
