- There's four things that every remote first organization has to have inside the organization to be successful. Documentation tools, communication tools, collaboration tools, and the right physical equipment. Having a single source of truth for every remote organization is one of the most important decisions an organization can make. There are a huge number of tools available in this space, Notion, Evernote, Google docs and what you use is ultimately less important than how you use it. The process of documentation, the knowledge and an understanding of why you're recording the things that you are, that's what's important for organizations.
