Intro to integrating on-premises AD with Azure
- [Instructor] Planning for AD integration is the final step before going through installation process. The two most important factors that will drive your integration plan are the existing on-premises AD topology and the requirement from the new hybrid deployment. Before we talk about integration method, let's recap some of the basic assumptions we are making. For all scenarios, we are assuming that there is an on-premises AD environment for the organization. There is also an Azure tenant for this organization, and with appropriate subscription, the Azure AD is already in place. The goal of integration process is to replicate all the relevant information, such as users and objects to Azure. The first method of integration is using AD Connect.
