- Submittals are documents with the, for consumption by other companies around which , form a review process in Autodesk build. In this lesson, I will show you how to create submittals in an Autodesk build project, and to get started open a project for issue, and click submittals from the product picker out the top left corner of the screen, make sure you're on the build model, and from the left navigation menu here, click the submittals to get started. Submittals are broken up into two groupings, items and packages. And submittal items are the smallest building block of a formal review process. Managers and responsible contractors can increase submittal items. Most items created by a responsible contractor must be submitted to a manager, and then the manager can either group the items into packages for review, or can simply submit the item directly to the reviewers.
